For this project, I based it around the quote "Create something out of nothing." I balled up some wire to create the "nothing" part and threaded black and white beads of magazine to show the start of the creative process. As the wire goes up, I'm expressing creativity more and more. I used blocks of magazine to create a blooming support piece and added butterflies made out of magazine to show more creativity. The part above the frame is the "something" part of the quote. I don't really like it compared to what I had originally thought of, but I do like how it came out.
For this project, my main focal point was a bunny. For the left side, I did a zentangle pattern around the bunny silhouette. For the right side, I did a zentangle inside the bunny. To add some color, I laid down some chalk pastel and blended it out with a paper towel.
This drawing has three points of perspective. One point of perspective is the end of the rope. Another point is the point for the buildings in the center of the middle building. The last point of perspective is behind the blue mountain for the background stripes. If I could change something in this drawing, it would be the backgrounds. I would take out everything behind the floating cliff and rope and add a space galaxy something to make it more like a fantasy world.
